SmackDown Predictions — March 26, 2021
Hello Friends,
Welcome to Smack Down Predictions. Here we will talk about what can happen on this weeks’ episode of SmackDown Live.
We are just 2 weeks away from WrestleMania, and a lot can happen this Friday night. Let’s begin with the tag-team-division. Last week, Mysterios made an upset by defeating Street Profits, but then they were defeated by the team of Otis and Chad Gable, aka, the Alphas. This week we expect WWE official, Adam Pearce, to pick an opponent for the SmackDown Tag team champions, Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
It is good to notice that each of these teams have defeated each other in the last few weeks. So, it looks like we are going to have a Fatal Four match
for tag team championships at WrestleMania. Another strong reason for this to happen is that WWE always looks to book most of their Superstars for WrestleMania. There are always a lot of tag team matches at Mania to involve most of their roaster. Hence, we can have 8 men competing for the Gold at WrestleMania.

Moving on, let’s move towards the Messiah. Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura at Fastlane, but still he has some unfinished business with Nakamura’s friend, Cesaro. It was Cesaro who performed a Giant Swing on Seth Freaking Rollins and swung him for Freaking 22 times. Two weeks ago, Rollins Curb Stomped Cesaro twice, and we are still waiting for Cesaro’s reply.
Well, the reply should come this week on SmackDown, and could result in a one on one match between these two Superstars at WrestleMania. How many times do you think Cesaro would swing him at WrestleMania?
And now it’s time for a little conspiracy theory. Sami Zayn continues to shoot his documentary during the recents episodes, in which he claims there is a conspiracy against him. Last week, he attacked Kevin Owens after losing his match against Baron Corbin, because Kevin Owens refused to believe there was a conspiracy. His attack on KO could result into a confrontation and further a one-on-match between these two on this Friday.
Well, the conspiracy story has been going on for quite some time now, and it seems there could be a segment at WrestleMania across both days where Sami Zayn investigates further and finally reveals who he believes is behind all this.
Last, but certainly not the least, let’s talk about the Universal Championship match. Although Roman Reigns in still the Universal Champion, he did tap out at Fastlane against Daniel Bryan. So this week, Bryan would be looking to claim a spot in the main event at WrestleMania. Obviously, his spot won’t be given to him just because he asks for it. Hence, there could be match for Bryan. If he wins, he would get added to the main event at WrestleMania.
Sounds familiar? Well, it seems like a page from WrestleMania 30 story.
Now it would be interesting to see who he faces, if this match is made. The best opponent for him would be none other than the Royal Rumble winner, Edge. It would be awesome to see these three guys compete at WrestleMania 37.
